Epzode 05: THE TSURANGA CONUNDRUM

The fifth epzode of Who Cares covered the stunningly named THE TSURANGA CONUNDRUM.
Cats had previously mused that, between Chibnall wanting JK Rowling to write for the show, JK Rowling’s various…views, and the presence of male pregnancy in the episode, that the premise could have been very, very different. It would not be the first false start of this particularly blasphemous epzode.

Epzode 04: ARACHNIDS IN THE UK

The fourth epzode of Who Cares covered the Halloween week episode of Doctor Who’s 11th series; ARACHNIDS IN THE UK.
An all-Australian cast – Neo and two newcomers – seemed appropriate for an episode revolving around spiders. But were the spiders the scariest thing in an episode that also featured (an attempt at) scathing political commentary? Cobwebs are cleared by the cast in this conversation.

Epzode 03: ROSA

The third epzode of Who Cares covered the first historical episode of Doctor Who’s 11th series; ROSA.
1950s Alabama. Not just any old racism, but a bona fide time-travelling cosmic racist, hell bent on manipulating bus schedules. The first episode of the series not purely written by Chibnall. A lot was riding on this episode. The cast had even expressed optimism about it beforehand. Did it live up to expectations? Nuh-uh, THIN ICE, man – we’d trained for this.

Epzode 02: THE GHOST MONUMENT

The second epzode of Who Cares naturally covered the second episode of Doctor Who’s 11th series; THE GHOST MONUMENT.
Just who are Angstrom and Epzo? The question had plagued our minds, a nonstop source of confusion and debate. Would Neo’s #teamepzo stance be vindicated in the face of his castmate’s allegiance to Angstrom? Would the sophomore episode prove the premiere a fluke, one way or another? And just what can be learned from a Sniperbot? Nate Bumber joined the cast in an instalment that would see these pressing questions answered.

Epzode 01: THE WOMAN WHO FELL TO EARTH

The very first epzode of Who Cares covered the very first episode of Doctor Who’s 11th series; THE WOMAN WHO FELL TO EARTH.
A new Doctor. A new showrunner. New composer, new executive producer, new production designer, new day of broadcast, a whole new production era with virtually nothing carried over from the last. How would we react to the all-new Doctor Who? Neo had been defending Chibnall for months upon months, insisting he’d bring a steady hand and firm grasp on character to the show. Ingiga had been more suspicious. In the end, we were all surprised by the titular fall the show had in store for us…
Extended posts on the episode by Neo and Morphant inside this post.
